Accuriopress C7100: Konica Minolta stands out to graphic arts professionals
18 June 2021
With the digital launch of its new range of color presses, the manufacturer is banking on innovation attracting more customers in the professional printing sector.
The new AccurioPress digital press line replaces the C6100 series models. On the agenda: print quality, intelligent automation and advanced features.
Equipped with Konica Minolta's Simitri V toner, the new machines ensure optimized print quality, especially on matt renderings, and both high resolution (3600 x 2400 dpi) and industrial-level printing speed (100 ppm). In addition, the AccurioPress C7100 presses can handle print media up to 400 gsm, for true versatility.
The advanced features of the new presses allow easy printing on textured substrates, for all types of projects. It is also possible to produce 900mm double-sided banners automatically for better performance. Reliable and durable, the new machines incorporate technologies to prevent both wear and breakdowns. The finishing options offered make the machine more versatile: creation of booklets, stapling, heat-sealed or spiral binding, numerous die-cutting and micro-perforation options, etc.
But it is its intelligent automation features that characterize this new range: available as an option, the IM-101 intelligent media sensor makes it possible to find and adopt the best paper configuration, and the IQ-501 Intelligent Quality Care module ensures consistent print quality, even on long jobs. Real-time Variable Data Inspection (VDP) capabilities help prevent printing errors by spotting and correcting color adjustment issues, text or image corrections in real time. The AccurioPress C7100 range is aimed at graphic arts customers seeking productivity and enhanced professional ease of use.
"The launch of the AccurioPress C7100 Series is the evolution of our hugely successful C6100 Series and represents another really important step forward as we continue to expand our portfolio offerings," said Karl Friedrich Edenhuizen, Konica PP Product Manager. "The new models make a powerful impression and have many simply efficient capabilities. They help customers to expand and streamline their business."
"We work in a partnership approach with our customers to help them rethink graphical communication in a world where the only constant thing is change," said Edoardo Cotichini, Head of Professional Printing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe. "Konica Minolta’s mission to support the transformation of its clients’ companies by sector and industry, predicting potential challenges and creating solutions together. We help them rethink agility."
