MyQ releases version 8.1

The latest version of MyQ brings many new features that will allow customers to find solutions tailored to their needs, regardless of the size of the organization.  Among its three available versions (the Smart version which is free, and the Enterprise and Ultimate versions) and its ability to be used as a single server (for small businesses) or as a central server (for larger ones), notably supporting failover cluster operation, MyQ 8.1 also offers notable new features.

• The main innovations in this version are the print job preview, job organization and archiving systems. Integrated, they allow customers to do without expensive third-party solutions!
• MyQ 8.1 supports Chromebook Printing, so that you can easily handle the disappearance of Google Cloud Print;
• Full tracking of print costs by type (color or monochrome) and the encryption of PDFs generated on a smartphone or arriving by email;
• Finally, on the administrator side, increased options for more efficient control, as well as a more complete and a detailed scripting guide for task automation.

MyQ 8.1 is more stable and comes with improved performance.  Following the MyQ central server update this summer, this print server update benefits from the same level of performance, for unified operation of the solution.
