Ricoh launch the Pro C5300 series digital presses
29 April 2020
The Ricoh Pro C5300s and C5310s light-production sheet-fed digital presses replace the C5200s and C5210s respectively.
The new machines offer the same high quality printing, the same range of finishing options on the same relatively small footprint, but with some significant tweaks.
The memory available has been substantially increased, up to 8 GB of RAM on the 5300 machines from the 2GB available on their predecessors.
The new feeder is slightly faster, 240 ipm (up from 200 ipm).
The duty cycle is increased to 450,000 pages.
The maximum power draw is up, but overall the typical consumption is slightly down on the 5200 series.
“Technological innovation has pushed the sheet-fed market forward, first with incredible strides in accuracy, media versatility and image quality, and second, making those advancements accessible to more printers,” said Heather Poulin, Vice President, Marketing, Commercial Printing Business Group, Ricoh USA, Inc. “The RICOH Pro C5300s and C5310s’ affordability and size bring some of the most eye-catching, productivity-enhancing features to an even broader customer base. These presses deliver best-in-class media support for specialty stocks, oversized sheets and heavier weights, a game changer for in-plants and marketing agencies looking to make print pop without breaking the bank.”
The new machines' full specifications and sales arguments are available to subscribers on the DataMaster Online service.
