OKI launches new A3 color MFP

24 February 2020

OKI Europe has just announced the launch of the MC883 series Smart MFP, replacing the MC873 series.

The new machines are based on the same LED toner technology (not laser), but can print at higher resolution than the MC873, 1200 x 1200 dpi. They can also produce the same extremely long banners - 1.3m - 4 feet, 3 inches.

The MC883 has an internal stapler, and a total capacity of up to 2,000 sheets. The feeder's capacity is 100 sheets. The interface is fully customizable, so frequent jobs can be saved to the homescreen. User independence is further enhanced by the fact that, in common with many other OKI machines, the fuser unit and even the transfer belt can be changed by an operator, without the need for a technician.

OKI's solutions platform, sXP, gives users access to OKI's SENDYS Explorer and is compatible with a wide range of third party software solutions, including PaperCut and Drivve Image.

OKI’s MC883 is a fantastic addition to our portfolio of smart MFPs. It combines user-friendly design with extraordinary customised workflow capabilities and superb 1200 x 1200 dpi colour printing,” says Polfai Ng, Product & Propositions Manager, OKI Europe Ltd. “With OKI’s reliable, high-performance hardware, flexible software and sXP open platform architecture, this is an incredibly versatile device that helps organisations of all types and sizes to streamline complex, document-intensive workflows and boost productivity – without compromising on performance.

The new machines technical specifications and sales arguments are already available to subscribers of DataMaster Online.
