Konica Minolta Launches All New Flagship Color A3 MFP bizhub C750i

The latest addition to its bizhub i-Series, the Konica Minolta bizhub C750i is a high-volume A3 color multifunction printer designed to provide the features of a small-scale print shop within a single unit suitable for an office space.

Running at up to 75ppm in monochrome and 70ppm in color, it is aimed at organizations' internal reprographic departments, and small- to medium-sized copy shops. The machine it replaces, the bizhub C759, was a little slower at printing in color, 65ppm. The bizhub C750i also has a faster scanner, processing originals at up to 280 ipm (scanning double-sided originals in a single pass).

“Its many enhanced features include higher print speeds for improved productivity, an intelligent media sensor for increased efficiency and of course, the latest in security to ensure data is protected,” said Dino Pagliarello, Senior Vice President, Product Management and Planning, Konica Minolta USA.

A neat feature which we presume has trickled down from Konica Minolta's Production Printing ranges is the intelligent media sensor which measures the paper type and thickness and automatically adjusts the paper settings as needed. Whilst repro teams are adept at changing media setup, office users are not. This sensor will remove a chore for them - and will also promote higher print quality and productivity in such working environments. It will help avoid paper jams and wear on the device, too - leading to less machine downtime and less technical support.

Other features the manufacturer is highlighting:

• Double the RAM of its predecessor, 8GB as standard - and 256GB SSD for storage.
• Helping allay Covid concerns, this machine - like the others in the bizhub i-series - can be operated remotely from smartphones and tablets.
• High security: in addition to good copy- and scan-mode features reducing the risk of data theft using the device, and now-standard network protection features like the TPM, Konica Minolta offers BitDefender antivirus as an additional option.
