PaperCut 20.0 released

PaperCut, the world-renowned print accounting and management solution, has just made it to version 20.

PaperCut offers a wide range of features for controlling and tracking user printing activities from printers or MFPs with detailed reports and graphs to analyze equipment usage within an organization.

Over the years, PaperCut has added features outside the print accounting world but which were reasonable directions to move into, given the reach of the platform: for example, OCR. It is rather rare to see companies in the print world publishing development wikis like an open-source developers' forum - but this endears them to many IT services, and no doubt wins them kudos and business. Plus they're Aussies: dry wit through and through.

But what they did best right from day one was their pricing strategy.

Version 20 is no exception to these winning strategies. It includes integration with Epic medical records, and a new cloud-based printing app for mobile users. They have further enhanced their deployment process and their failover process for application servers.
