2024 at Lexmark: Awards and Launches

10 December 2024

2024 has been quite a year for Lexmark. Despite all the difficulties all print manufacturers are facing, Lexmark has played to its strengths and ends the year in a good position.

Not many print manufacturers have launched new machines since the pandemic. Refreshing much of their entire catalog, Lexmark launched their new 9-Series and 8-Series in June 2024. The range is composed of twelve models: 10 A3 machines (9 multifunctions and one printer) and two A4 MFPS. The roll-out continues into 2025.

All of the new machines are designed with the future in mind: they are built to last fully seven years, and the their launch has highlighted how the brand is highly focused on sustainability. Lexmark products have steel chassis, contain a high proportion of recycled materials and can all benefit from Lexmark’s award-winning cartridge recycling program. Lexmark intend to be carbon neutral by 2035.

Lexmark are integrators. In-house expertise and a long track record of providing complex large-scale solutions has allowed them to retain their high ranking in the US’s federal print procurement program. Demonstrable sustainability efforts are key to winning public-sector business, and the Energy Star® Partner of the Year Award for Sustained Excellence by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is testament to Lexmark’s long-term dedication to providing durable products which consume relatively little energy.

Among the many other awards Lexmark has won in 2024 are Quocirca’s awards for best managed print services provider (12th year running) and global security leadership. Quocirca also named Lexmark a leader in cloud services provision. Aside from product and services awards, Lexmark also won two important awards for being a great place to work: Seramount’s "2024 100 Best Companies" and "2024 Top Companies for Executive Women."
