Konica Minolta launch two ultra-connected monochrome MFPs

24 November 2016

New machines are rolling off the sled at the end of the year! After Xerox or Samsung, it is now the turn of Konica Minolta to launch - this time monochrome devices for Black Friday:  the new A3/ledger monochrome multifunction printers bizhub 308 and 368, which replace the bizhub 364e and 284e respectively.

From the point of view of productivity, the bizhub 308 prints at a speed of 30 ppm and 38 ppm for the bizhub 368. They both have a standard capacity of 1,150 sheets and a maximum capacity of 6,650 sheets. A single-pass automatic document feeder (ref DF-704) with a capacity of 100 sheets is available as an option. Equipped with this feeder, these machines can scan double-sided originals at up to 160 ipm.  They also have a 250 GB hard disk available as standard and a maximum memory of 4 GB.  Finishing modules for stapling, folding (even a Z-fold), punching and brochure are also available.

Designed for workgroups, these machines are ideal for small and large organizations. They have all the connectivity options in which Konica Minolta has been investing for some time: Wi-Fi connection, AirPrint compatibility, Google Cloud Print and NFC technology. In addition, applications can be downloaded from the bizhub MarketPlace platform, available right from the nine-inch color touch interface. This space provides applications to widen the functions of the MFP.

The enivronmental aspect of all machines is a major factor in the economic development of this manufacturer, hence the low TEC (Typical Electrical Consumption) value of 1,500 Wh/week for the bizhub 308 and 1,800 Wh/week for the bizhub 368. Finally, these bizhubs are certified by Energy Star and Epeat (gold) eco-labels.

Already available in the United States, these MFPs will soon be available on Your DMO portal.
