The bizhub LEGAL App is designed for lawyers but could be used more widely.  It allows some MFP functions to be automated; multiple functions are launched by a single touch of the button.  A lawyer or legal assistant can scan paper to PDF/A (so long as the MFP supports this format) and the document is stored in the relevant folder.   The major advantage is that the signed version of a contract can be scanned to PDF/A and yet can be stored in the same way as a computer-generated document (which cannot carry the signature and retain its legal value).
