osidoc is developed by the French company Ostendi, and is a suite of applications for batch and transactional document processing and document management.

osidoc provides a platform for merging text and information into a variety of standardized and less standard output formats. It is designed to help businesses optimize and save time in the production of:

mailouts
contracts
online content
legal texts and regulatory compliance submissions
online forms / data collection (non-PDF, so low bandwidth)

osidoc thus provides some Automatic Document Factory features (as defined in the ADF standard) and Gartner has recognized the contribution to an ADF that osidoc can make.

Easy to use, osidoc does not require user training, and rollouts are typically very quick. There are some very large account users in France (including banks, insurance companies and government departments) where the positive organizational impact can be most keenly felt.

Ostendi have some useful partners in Ricoh, Opentext and other ECM providers.

The Author module of osidoc is available in English and French, but more languages are available for the Editor module. osidoc is in use in much of western Europe.
