Four new high-volume MFPs from HP

11 December 2013

Hewlett Packard announced on December 10 the launch of the HP S900 series of high-volume multifunctions.  This series comprises four models of MFP:  the monochrome S956N and the color S951dn, S962dn and S970dn.  They print from 51 to 70 pages per minute.  These machines can also benefit from a range of finishing options (stapling, booklet, folding).

According to our information, these products are HP equivalents of the following Sharp machines:  MX-5140N (S951dn) and the MX-6240N and MX-7040N (S962dn and S970dn).  The S956N monochrome MFP is the Sharp MX-565FN, which was launched recently in Japan.

HP are highlighting the data management, document workflow and security features of these multifunctions.  Each will be offered with HP Web Jetadmin, HP Universal Print Driver, HP Access Control and HP Capture and Route.

Also worth noting:  this S900 Series from HP will be available exclusively in the context of an HP Managed Print Services agreement with an HP MPS Partner - with the aim of providing enhanced services to major accounts to optimize print management.
