Canon announces the two new iR Advance C2020 and C2030

27 September 2010

After Konica-Minolta's BizHub C220, the e-Studio 2020c from Toshiba and the WC7120 from Xerox, it's Canon's turn to launch their brand new A3 color 20ppm b&w and color MFP, the iR Advance C2020.

It's official, the iR Advance color range will include, for the last quarter of 2010, two new machines:
- the iR Advance C2020 (20/20 ppm)
-
the iR Advance C2030 (30/30 ppm)

These new entry-level units are modelled on the iR Advance Office models launched at the end of 2009:
- the C1 finishing unit (external stapler, 3,000 sheet capacity) and the A1 (internal stapler, capacity of 500 sheets) are those of the iR Advance C5030i, C5035i, C5045i and C5051i.
- We also find whole of the iR Advance series' own specifications: bioplastics, PQ toner, the Essentials software suite, flexible touch screen, etc.

The iR Advance C2020 will therefore complement the brand's small color engines.  As for the iR Advance C2030, this will be an alternative to the C2020 (20ppm) and the C5030i (30ppm).
