DataMaster Lab gives the Ricoh MP C307/407 Intelligent A4 MFP 4.5 stars

The Ricoh MP C307SP and C407SP intelligent A4 color multifunction printers have been through all the DataMaster Lab tests and evaluations.  We are pleased to announce that they have obtained the very good rating of 4.5/5 stars.

This range replaces the Ricoh MPC 306 and MP C406.

These intelligent A4 multifunctions are of a compact design, the size of a large desktop machine - and have the wide range of funcctions expected of an intelligent MFP.

They are very productive machines: the measured speed in duplex mode is close to that in simplex (single-sided) - and they delivered the shortest First Copy Out Time (FCOT) so far measured in the DataMaster Lab for a machine in this market segment - around 9 seconds.  The time to come back from standby is reasonable (3 seconds), as opposed to start up from cold, which takes at least 1 minute 37!

The environmental caracteristics of the machines are pretty good.  The TEC is low (1100 Wh per week), electrical consumption in stand-by is just 1.3W, and they have a Gold Epeat Certificate.
