Sharp launch two new monochrome departmental multifunctions

10 December 2014

Sharp USA announced on Tuesday December 9 the launch of two new monochrome A3 multifunctions, the MX-M754N and MX-M654N, running at 75 and 65 A4 ppm respectively.
Replacing the MX-M753 and MX-M653 launched in June 2010, they have numerous enhancements over their predecessors.  In particular, they support wifi as standard which will simplify printing from mobile devices compatible with SharpDesk Mobile (available for iOS, Android and Windows).  The 10-inch tablet-style control panel is complemented by a retractable keyboard - fitted as standard - which will help with typing email addresses and index data for the numerous capture apps compatible with Sharp's OSA platform.
The previous generation of machines already had a dual-head scanner for reading duplex documents in a single pass, but the speed has been substantially increased to 100 sheets per minute, i.e. 200 images per minute for duplex originals.
