Full five stars for the Konica Minolta bizhub SRA3 range of colour MFPs

We only give the full five-star rating to machines which are strong on all our evaluation axes, and this is definitely the case for the Konica Minolta bizhub C251i, bizhub C301i and bizhub C361i.

This range of SRA3 colour copiers deliver superb print quality in all respects, and they are very easy to use. Throughout the testing and evaluation process, Konica Minolta machines demonstrate high quality of manufacture and expertise in addressing modern business user requirements.

Print quality is superb, in every aspect: a rich colour gamut, very clean solids; photographs are well balanced; very tiny characters are legible and very fine lines are clean and unbroken.

Scan quality is exceptional too. Simply selecting the Text setting in the scan setup produces excellent results on texts printed over varying and complex backgrounds such as an invoice printed over a company logo. Such data will be more easily read by downstream OCR than on most competing devices and even on most scanners. The scanner itself is of high quality, and its dynamic thresholding is the best we have seen on an MFP.

Users of the range will benefit from Konica Minolta’s experience in addressing their needs. Numerous features attest to this, such as “busy office” multitasking and intelligent processing, seamless switching between paper sources, the intelligent print queue and how easy it is to set up complex tasks such as scanning to remote folders. We like the multiple interface options, making it easy for visiting colleagues to use the machine as well as for daily users to set up regular, complex jobs.

All users will like how quiet these machines are. Rated at 64 dB, our test team confirms that they make no irritating sounds. These MFPs can be placed in the work group’s immediate work area.
