DataMaster gives 5 stars to the Xerox Altalink 82nn series of colour MFPs

After extensive testing and evaluation, DataMaster is delighted to give the Xerox AltaLink 82nn range of A3 colour MFPs the full five stars!

This is the third generation of AltaLink machines from Xerox, and the third to get all five stars from DataMaster.

They are very productive machines, keeping to their promises in terms of speed, and are not slowed down by issues which affect some of their competitors. For example, they can all scan and print at the same time, and the print queue can handle stalled jobs automatically.

They are also exceptionally easy to use: the interface, driver and the machine web page. Many powerful function are so well thought out that they can be set up easily in just a few keystrokes without recourse to a manual or a training course.

The print quality is excellent. We gave the rang an overall score for print quality of 95/100. The colour gamut is very rich, colours are well represented, and areas of solid colour are flawless. Photographs are really well balanced. To get the best results, you do need the PS3 option.

The machine runs very quietly. The sound power rating is quite low (70 dB), and in practical terms, it does not produce noise likely to disturb other members of the work group. The scanner is fast and delivers high-quality images. Onboard OCR quality is very high, scoring 5/5.
