Princity added to the iTS solutions portfolio

05 February 2021

iTS is expanding its offering with Princity, a lightweight and easy-to-install SaaS solution for automated consumables management.

Princity manages an organization's entire fleet of printers: the software detects devices, wherever they are, and registers their characteristics, status and consumables. Cloud-based, the service also consists of a locally installed client and a web interface. The tool thus generates reports allowing economical and optimal management:

• Consumables: Thanks to the local client which regularly analyzes the level of consumables such as toner, for example, an alert is sent to the server when it gets low. The ordering and supply of new toner is then automatically initiated. This service means end-users will never run out and will avoid any unnecessary costs.
• Cost management: the integrated counter allows you to count prints, calculate costs and assign them to a cost center, for accurate monitoring.
• Incident management: when one of the printing peripherals encounters a problem, it is identified by Princity, which sends the error code to the service team.

The Princity solution also offers around thirty reports, saving time which translates into savings. Compatible with more than 5,000 printer models, Princity can also be easily and quickly integrated into many storage and accounting systems thanks to dedicated APIs. Finally, data security is ensured by a TLS protocol and identifiers conforming to the X509 standard.
