Kyocera acquire Optimal Systems

07 February 2020

Kyocera Document Solutions has acquired Berlin-based Optimal Systems, the ECM house which develops and sells the enaio® content management platforms in German-speaking countries.

For Kyocera, the acquisition widens their portfolio of content systems and brings them more experience of system integration into a wide range of vertical markets.  Optimal will continue to operate as an independent entity, but being part of the Kyocera Document Solutions family should allow them to expand internationally more rapidly.

Norihiko Ina, President of Kyocera Document Solutions Inc. said "Thanks to the cooperation, we can now offer new, optimally tailored consulting, hardware, software and services at any time, regardless of location, to make our customers' business processes even more efficient.”

Founder and CEO of Optimal Karsten Renz said "We are absolutely convinced that we will grow faster internationally within the Kyocera group, because we can now additionally offer our ECM know-how to Kyocera customers in order to significantly support their digitization processes. Developing economical, customer-oriented solutions is part of the mission statement of both companies."
