It can run at up to 65ppm onto A4/Letter, 32.5 ppm onto A3/Ledger and 31.2 ppm onto 12x18" SRA3 cut sheets.  Print resolution can be up to 2,400 x 2,400 dpi, and the machine can be shipped with PostScript 3 as an option.  Media can be just 52 gsm up to 350 gsm / 130 lb. cover from the by pass.

As standard the machine can hold up to 3550 sheets, and with an optional high-capacity deck, up to 7050 sheets.  The device is compatible with a wide range of Canon finishing units too.
The document feeder can hold up to 300 sheets - and is equipped with a dual-head scanner which can scan up to 240 ipm.

The machine is equipped with a 10.1 inch touch screen, behind which there is 2 GB or RAM on the standard controller.  The 250 GB standard hard disk can be replaced with a 1 TB as an option.  Sleep mode takes some while to return from, but it only consumes 0.9 W.
