Ricoh launches new entry-level multifunctions

12 September 2019

Ricoh is launching  a range of entry level, compact A4/Letter Color MFPs, the M C250 Series - and a printer with the same print engine, the P C301W.  They can print at up to 26ppm on Letter format and 25 ppm onto A4.

The M C250FW and M C250FWB multifunctions replace the SP C261SFNw and SP C262SFNw.

All these models can run emulated PostScript 3 as standard, and have wifi as standard. They are aimed at very small workgroups or single users.  The MFP models have a single-pass feeder with a 50-page capacity, albeit a slow one:  only 12 ipm in color, 21 ipm in black.  They all support all the usual mobile printing apps and can print at up to 2400x600 dpi.

256 MB of RAM is not much, but these are not machines intended to support software solutions.  These are entry-level machines with a good range of possibilities.

You can check out and compare these new devices on DataMaster Online from Printer-Benchmark.com.
