Launch of the bizhub C3100P, new A4 color printer from Konica Minolta

On the 14th May, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe announced the launch of the bizhub C3100P, to complete its range of color A4 printers.

This compact machine prints at 31 ppm in color and monochrome, and also distinguishes itself by attaining the same speed printing onto both sides of the sheet.  Compatible with PageScope Enterprise Suite, this machine will easily integrate in a fleet including Konica Minolta's A3 devices.

The printer can communicate with Konica Minolta technical services using CSRemote Care Global Services.  This system simplifies and in part automates machine maintenance by sending consumables state and other technical information to the relevant technical services provider.

Regarding security, the bizhub C3100P can have a card reader installed as an option, and supports PageScope Authentication Manager which allows admins to manage different security features and functions including usage quotas for individual users and groups.

The bizhub C3100P has good environmental credentials too.  It is certified Energy Star and Blue Angel stand-by mode only pulls 3W.  In-use electrical consumption is minimized, mostly due to the low-temperature fusing polymerised Simitri HD toner.
